Nach Peru kommt uns Equador gerade recht! Das Auge hat wieder Abwechslung: ueppiges, sattes Gruen, sanfte Huegel, riesige Bananenplantagen, Wasserfaelle und Vulkane.
Auch die Menschen scheinen so angenehm zu sein, wie die Natur. /
After Peru, Equador is just what we need. Our eyes get more diversity: lots of green, smooth hills, huge banana plantages, waterfalls and vulcanoes. Also the people seem to be as nice as the countryside.

Vilcabamba
hier steigen wir im Hostel “Versteckter Garten” ab. Sehr schoen. Relaxen und Ausruhen ist angesagt. Vilcabamba ist bekannt dafuer, dass die Menschen hier 100 Jahre alt werden. Kein Wunder, hier ist es extrem ruhig. Stress ein Fremdwort. /
We are staying in the hostel “Hidden garden”. We relax and take it easy. Vilcabamba is known for its 100 years old people. No wonder, this location is quiet, stress an unknown word.

Banos
Ein Ort am Fusse eines Vulkanes gelegen und praktisch in staendiger Bedrohung durch diesen. Der Ort ist wunderschoen und fuer uns wieder zum relaxen. Wir bleiben 7 Tage hier und geniessen die Ruhe und Gemuetlichkeit, treffen viele neue und alte Freunde, trinken Kaffee, kochen, einfach schoen. /
It is situated on the bottom of a vulcano and poses a permanent threat to this place. This location is very nice and again for relaxing. We stay 7 days and enjoy the peace, meet many new and some old friends, drink coffee, cook and take it easy.
Nanette und Eric aus Holland. Sie leben dort auf einer Insel vor Amsterdam. Wir haben sie das erste Mal in der Wueste Boliviens getroffen. Wir feiern Wiedersehen. /
They live on a tiny island in front of Amsterdam. First time we met them in the desert of Bolivia. We celebrate our new get together.

Neue Bekanntschaft mit Lorenzo (Californien) und Mike (Wales; England).
Mike ist in Suedamerika auf einer BMW 850 GS unterwegs. Leider hat er einen Motorradschaden und wartet seit 3 Wochen auf Ersatzteile. Glueck fuer uns, wir hatten eine schoene Zeit mit ihm!/
New friends- Lorenzo and Mike. Mike is travelling trough southamerica with a BMW 850 GS. He had some problems with the bike and is waitingen now since 3 weeks for getting new parts! Lucky for us, we had a great time together!

Schlusswort Equador: Wir koennen Equador allen empfehlen die ein exotisches Land erleben wollen, denen Bolivien und Peru aber zu unsicher ist. Equador ist ein sicheres Abenteuer, mit Indios, Anden, Vulkanen, Fruechten, Jungel, Strand. Alles dabei. Die Menschen sind sehr freundlich. Wir hatten eine hoechst angenehme und stressfreie Zeit. Das war wie Urlaub.
Final word for Equador: We recommend Equador to all who want to experience an exotic country but not want to go to Bolivia or Peru. Equador is save travelling with Indios, mountains, beaches, jungle, Andeans, Vulcanoes and friendly people. We had a very relaxing time there. It was like being on holiday.
